Ontario Women's Player Tour - Women's Golf

Ontario Women's Player Tour

About us
The idea is simple:

Create a golf tour for the women to compete and gain experience while living in Ontario. Imagine a strong field of some of the best female players, eager to make it to the next level (Espon Tour). Because of the challenges of living in Canada, most Canadian female golfers cannot live on a more permanent basis down in the States but, more importantly, compete consistently on some of the developing tours.

The Future

We hope to see increased participation within the golf community in Ontario, especially Juniors and College players deciding to go the Professional route. Over the next few years, we hope to establish a playing ranking system for each tournament season – this will motivate players to gain points for the year-end trophy/prize. As this tour starts to gain attraction, we hope winning some of our internal tournaments will allow for exemptions for any major events in Canada – PGA of Canada Women’s Championship and PGA of Ontario events. In the end, we wish that this tour will be recognized nationwide and helps the dreams of any female golfers, becoming the next best Canadian female golfer.
